    Instruments

    2 x Yokogawa GS200 (DC Voltage/Current source)

    Installed Drivers: 

    • Labview drivers, release date 08/02/2010, Filename ykgs200.zip (ver. 7.x)
    • USB Driver, release date 31/01/2014, Filename YKMUSB1038.zip. Deinstalled on the 28/02/2014.
    • Manuel can be found here Yokogawa GS200.pdf
    • Firmware update on the 28/02/2014 to version 2.01 (release date Aug 20, 2012) with the following steps:
      • The yokogawa USB-driver (see above) has the be deinstalled!
      • Download latest firmware from https://y-link.yokogawa.com/YL029/ with ID: "20142015" and password "yokogawa200".
      • On the GS200: Utility --> Remote I/F -> USB Storage --> Storage.
      • Connect GS200 via USB cable to computer. Drive "GS200RAM" should appear.
      • copy firmware file .srec into drive "GS200RAM".
      • On the GS200: Utility --> Sys Config --> Update Sys.
      • GS200 will restart after the update.
      • Check firmware version on GS200: Utility --> Sys Info.


    LabView:

    • The Yokogawa 7651 .VI's were copied for the GS200 and the GPIB-read and write were replaced by VISA-read and write. Can be found on Manip006 drive. NOTE: To use the 7651 commands on the GS200 one has to change that on the GS200 itself: Utility --> Remot I/F --> GPIB --> GPIB Cmd --> 7651.     LabView:

    • "PNA N5222A Read Measurement.vi" was written: This VI Records all the Traces of the chosen Channel of the PNA N5222A Network Analyzer and also plots them on a graph. Each trace is stored in a file in 2 columns (first column represents the frequency [Hz] and second one the amplitude or phase) and a header file is added with the following information: Date and time of the record, Start and Stop Frequency [Hz], Number of points, Source power [dBm], IF-Bandwidth [Hz], Sweep time [s], number of traces, calibration information [filename if applicable], measurment name and S-parameter. (this VI can be found on the Manip006 drive)
